Children’s Book Title Parodies

Let me warn you straight up that if you are Ms Prim or the neighbourhood moral zealot, Children’s Book Title Parodies are not for you or your goody-goody dollhouse people. While they might look innocuous at a glance, the titles of these little children’s books were rewritten for adults. They make a fantastic mini gift for a friend who shares your sense of mischief. You could also just sneak one or two onto your dollhouse coffe table and wait for people’s reaction when they notice them.

Here I’m sorry to disappoint. Even though the covers hint at scandalous secrets revealed inside, these inappropriate kid’s books contain only blank pages. You can gently open the covers and page through them, but the books look best when displayed closed.

What Scale is This Miniature?

Children’s Book Title Parodies were made for your 1:12 scale dollhouse.
They will also work with Barbie or Blythe dolls, or be a rather large book in a half-scale dollhouse.

The book dimensions range from 16mm to 34mm. See the images for exact size of every book.

Materials and Care

Printed on card stock and paper. The books are made for display and miniature use only. Keep all printed and paper items away from strong light and excessive moisture.

WARNING

Our dollhouse items are intend for use and display by adult collectors. Although we take every care to make sure that our miniatures are strong and durable, they are fragile by nature. Older children can handle miniatures under supervision but small parts may be a choking hazard for young children and babies. In general, we recommend that you keep your miniatures out of reach of children.
