Penelope is a 40cm (16 inches) cloth doll made of calico. You will need 8mm glass eyes or buttons for eyes, and knitting wool to make the hair. This doll is simple to make. Have fun dressing her with oddments of winter weight fabric, knit her a scarf and hat, and make the boots from velvet or felt.
