Artist teddy bear needlekeeper, Kuki.
Where Did the Idea of a Teddy Bear Needlekeeper Come From?
Megan designed Kuki needle keeper teddy bear in 2007 in honour of a bear maker and quilter, Kitty, who is also a friend and at the time was a tremendous help in the studio when we needed an extra pair of hands. Kitty is practical and organized, serene and funny, and Kuki portrays those qualities beautifully. The teddy bear needle book has magnetic hands to hold your scissors and her body opens to reveal a needleneedlekeeper for your pins and needles .
Kuki needlekeeper teddy is made of mohair, with felt inside pages. She also has glass eyes and an embroidered nose. This makes her extra luxurious and collectible.
Kuki is 18cm (7 inches) tall. The diameter of the needlebook pages is 75mm.
Materials and Care

Our hand made artist bears and animals are intended for use and display by adult collectors. Although we take every care to make sure that our creations are strong and durable, they are fragile because they are handmade. Older children can handle artist teddy bears under supervision but small parts are a choking hazard for young children and babies. As a result, we recommend that you keep your teddies out of reach of children.
